Rue Du Liban – New Lebanese Restaurant In Hong Kong

Vibrant Eatery In Tsim Sha Tsui

Rue-Du-Liban-Main

Hot off the press! Authentic Lebanese is making its way to the vibrant, yet tucked-away, street of Hillwood Road in Tsim Sha Tsui. With ingredients sourced straight from Lebanon, traditional dishes made with a modern flair, and exotic Lebanese architecture, Rue Du Liban will bring you a genuine experience of food and culture.

From the French word, the restaurant’s name means “The Street Of Lebanon,” and is also the name of one of the most iconic streets in the heart of the Lebanese capital, Beirut. Able to accommodate 60 people, the restaurant will feed guests inventive and inspiring takes on Lebanese food. Along with the main dining room, there is a private dining room for more intimate parties that can cater to 12 guests as well as an elegant bar area.

Gram-worthy, Rue Du Liban’s interiors boast an exotic vibe with an upside-down hanging garden accentuated by artificial spring flowers, reminiscent of the overgrown flowery balconies of Beirut, and warm timber hues that are sure to make for some picture-perfect moments.

Menus and sharing plates are designed to bring friends and family together making Rue du Liban perfect for both smaller and larger catch-ups! Try mouth-watering starters like Hummus Beiruti (HK$88), Moutabal (HK$94) and Muhammara (HK$98) or the refreshing Tabbouleh Salad (HK$108). Hot Mezze must-try dishes include their delicious Kibbeh (HK$118), Grilled Octopus (HK$198), and Pan-Fried Chicken Liver in Pomegranate Molasses (HK$128). You will also find traditional delectable Lebanese savory flaky pastries or “Mouajjanat” such as Sambousek, and vegetarian and non-vegetarian Aarayess. Leave some room for the mains like the delicious lamb shank and chicken Fatteh topped with yogurt. The homemade desserts are not to be missed – they serve Lebanese favorites such as Knefeh (sweet semolina pastry filled with ricotta cheese and topped in sugar syrup), rice pudding and the Lebanese French Toast.

Although they are already quite reasonable with their prices, Rue Du Liban also offers an amazing “get-it-all” weekday lunch set, with vegetarian options as well, from 11:30 am-3:00 pm and starts at HK$108/pp. Along with a hearty, healthy main, you’ll also get the soup of the day, a selection of freshly made mezze, along with Lebanese rice, warm pita bread, one dessert, and a drink of your choice. It doesn’t get any better than this!

Reasonable, delicious, and healthy with the warmth of Lebanese culture, Rue Du Liban is a gorgeous spot for both lunch and dinner.
